What God Put Together

The hubby and I decided to take our pal, Scout the wonder dog, on a road trip. So here we are in the middle of nowhere in a rented RV enjoying the night sky. Toine is trying to figure out the WiFi connect thingy while Scout is trying to catch some z’s. I’m thinking about a question I was asked this morning out of the blue. “What’s the purpose of your marriage?” A list of things popped into my head, but I summed up my answer with, “to be a healthy example of a beautiful marriage to other couples”. Yeah, that’s it, yeah. LOL

The longer we are together, the more God reveals His purpose for us being together because we desire to know. You see, we’re not together to make each other happy. In fact, we don’t depend on each other for our happiness; we depend on God for that. God put us together for His purpose. And not just us. God has a purpose for every married couple. Yup. It’s up to you and your spouse to seek God to find out what it is. Besides the fact that we are in love and have a great time together, knowing that God put us together for a specific reason gives us that extra oomph. You know what I mean?

God called you for a great purpose designed by Him. Don’t get God’s plan mixed up with your plan. Unfortunately, our plans can lead us to a life of chaos and calamity or just a mundane existence. It’s up to you to find out what His purpose for your life. God is waiting for you to ask. This was a quick post because I want to get back to my hubby. 😀

Just blogging it out . . .Oh and HAPPY TUESDAY NIGHT! 😀

  1. That’s a very good question. The first thing that comes to mind is John 10:10 “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. These three things seem to find their way into many relationships. The devil steals our purpose by consuming us with things that don’t matter, (social media, purposely friendships, relationships etc.), then the he kills our dreams, vision, and desire to reach our goals. The Third thing is he can destroy our gifts, talent and ability that God has blessed us with. Until we can understand the second portion of this verse ” I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” AMP
The Lord wants us to live a life of abundance until it overflows with purpose, passion, and productions. Marriage is beautiful, 29 years and counting. I love my wife and the life God has blessed us with.
    Enjoy! 
