Here we are at the end of the month AGAIN!! Time is really flying by, huh? Okay, it isn’t, but it sure feels like it is. Christmas will be here before we know it. 😀 LOL Take sometime to enjoy life this weekend. Love yourself and forgive everyone for everything. 😀 I’m not exempt. I’m . . .
Just blogging it out. . . Oh and Happy Friday Night!! 😀
There will always be someone who doesn’t think what we’re doing is good, right, important, etc. In fact, there are people who enjoy operating negatively in order to get a rise out of us. I don’t like writing about negativity, but in order to make my point, I have to at least mention it a little. 😀
Romans 8 talks about the victory we have in Christ. Please read it when you get a chance. Romans 8:31b says, . . . If God is for us, who can be against us?
Seriously ask yourself:Â I
The answer is, NO ONE!!! Unless we let them. When opposition comes our way, we must keep our eyes on Jesus and continue our journey. Nothing is too big for God. Stay focused on Him and move forward. I’m not exempt. I’m . . .
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Thursday Night!! 😀
With only three days left in April, I completed one of my writing goals about five minutes ago. No time to waste. I still have two more goals to accomplish.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Wednesday Night!! 😀
I’ve spent a lot of years being bored. LOL Yes indeed. 😀 This is not a complaint. It’s merely an observation. 😀 I saw the following meme today and immediately thought about purpose.
Okay, it’s a little far fetched, but all those years I was bored, I was not walking in my purpose. I still have a lot to discover, but I am definitely on the right path. God has a purpose for all of us and if you’re married He has a purpose for your marriage too. It’s easy to give up when we don’t realize there is a reason for our existence. We need to accept the fact that God put us here, seek Him for the reason, and do it! Easier said than done? Then start with the easy part . . . SAY IT!
I’m not exempt. I’m . . .
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Monday Night!! 😀
Well alrighty then. It’s the weekend. This has been an interesting week. Did you check out a calendar today? There’s only one week left in this month.
Did I mention I love Scooby Doo? LOL
I have so much to do before the end of this month, but I’m not going to panic. Nope! I’m going to trust the Lord and keep my thoughts on Him and bask in His perfect peace. Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Of course I am going to work hard to meet every deadline. Have a blessed weekend!
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Friday Night!!
I believe the year was 2011 and the month was May. Yeah, I think that’s right. It was a Sunday afternoon and Antoine and I drove to The Forum which is a little over sixty miles from our house. That was the year of Prince’s 21 day tour and we had two tickets! The tour was special for many reasons. Besides the fact that his performance was THREE HOURS INCLUDING FOUR ENCORES :D, Prince made sure everyone who wanted to see him in concert would be able to afford a ticket. Most of the seats were $25!
We had a great time to say the least. There were people of all ages. In fact, the women in front of us were well into their senior years. One lady even had a cane, but that didn’t stop her from dancing when Prince started jamming especially the older tunes. I believe he is the only man who could pull off pink furry high heel boots. 😀
Death while sad and shocking, is inevitable. How are you spending your dash? (Birth-Death) Prince will be remembered for a long time. I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear new music from him in the future . . . A LOT! I don’t know about you, but I need to work harder to fulfil my purpose. Since we don’t know how long we will be here, we need to live each day like it’s our last. Don’t waste your dash!!
Let’s stay focused on God and continue to move forward.
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Thursday Night!!
I’m sitting here thinking about how awesome God is. I ran across this little stick figure cartoon. I wish I could take credit for it, but I can’t. LOL
Philippians 1:6 says, And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
God knows exactly what He’s doing. Let’s keep moving forward and enjoy the ride.
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Wednesday Night! 😀
Do you remember how great Saturday morning cartoons were back in the 70’s and 80’s? Come on. You remember: “As your body grows bigger, your mind grows flowers. It’s great to learn.Cause knowledge is power. It’s Schoolhouse Rocky, that chip off the block.Of your favorite schoolhouse, Schoolhouse Rock!” LOL 😀
What about this guy?
He was part of the Bod Squad which focused on lessons about how to take care of our bodies. He’s the one that told us, “You are what you eat from your head down to your feet . . .” Definitely one of my favorites. In fact, I still sing it when I’m goofing around the house. 😀 Perfect place for me to segue to tonight’s topic.
We are what we think. Even though thoughts are our little secrets, they are expressed through our actions. Eventually, we will begin to speak what’s in our hearts. It’s quite simple just like the lesson that Timer taught us about our bodies so long ago. If we keep our minds on how God sees us, our thoughts about ourselves will be positive. Positivity will be oozing out of us all over the place. 😀 That’s it. I’m not exempt. I’m . . .
Just blogging it out . . . Oh and Happy Tuesday Night!! 😀
There’s nothing like God’s peace, right? Philippians 4:7 says, And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Don’t you love that verse? It’s a great reminder of many things, but tonight it reminds me that we can have God’s peace in any situation, good or bad. But who wouldn’t have peace when things are good? LOL Since God’s peace is beyond all understanding, we have the ability to be content no matter what.
I heard someone say, “don’t rise with the highs and don’t sink with the lows”. 😀 I like that. How about: Avoid the emotional roller coaster . . . Accept God’s peace. 😀 I’m not exempt . . .
I’m just blogging it out . . . OH and Happy Monday Night!! 😀
