We Believe

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20, 21)

If you’ve never read any of my blog posts, I pray you will take a minute to read this one.

I met the guy in the photo, Gene Vantrease, over twenty years ago at a church I attended in Chicago, Illinois. As a matter of fact, he was a cast member in one of the first stage plays I wrote, and I’m pretty sure we got on each other’s nerves. LOL

Unfortunately, in 2013 Gene suffered a stroke, which left him paralyzed. For almost five years, he has been praying and working hard to regain his mobility. His goal is to walk before the end of 2018, but extra therapy sessions are needed to accomplish his goal.

Will you please join my husband, Antoine, and me in helping Gene reach his $4000 goal to pay for the extra therapy sessions? No amount is too small. Click here to give.

Gene has been diligent in posting his progress on Facebook along with a short video on the GoFundMe page. My husband and I usually give anonymously, but for the sake of this post, we’ve decided to give publicly to encourage others to give. We know Gene is going to walk again because We Believe in the power mentioned in the scripture above.  Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post.

God bless you!

Just blogging it out!

P.S. Please pray for Gene and continue to pray for the world.
