Give Him Time

This has been a challenging week for me, but I press. I realize there are times when I ask God for things, but I don’t really expect Him to do it or at least my actions show that I don’t. For instance, before starting something that I know will be difficult, I’ll ask God for guidance then start doing things the way I think they should be done. LOL I usually mess up and then start all over again. There’s nothing like starting over after writing 25,000 words. 😀 When I actually wait for guidance, things seem to just flow.

James 1:5-8 says,  If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

When I read that I thought, “no way, that’s way too harsh and that’s not me.” Bwahahaha  Asking God for wisdom, but doing things my way isn’t operating in faith. He clearly wants to give us wisdom, but we have to give Him time to do so. I’m not exempt. I’m . . .

Just blogging it out . . .Oh and Happy Wednesday Night! 😀
