I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)
I love black and white scenery photos. I would like to one day invest in a good camera, so I can take my own photos. Until then, I will search the web. 😀 Linda Haynes took this photo of that beautiful swan. I found it on the Pixabay website. You don’t have to, but there’s an option to donate a cup of coffee to the selected photographer. I figure, if I use someone’s photo, the least I can do is pay for their coffee, right? 😀
Today, I submitted my bio and pic to my publisher for the company website. Pretty soon, I will be listed as one of the authors. 😀 There was a time in my life when I wouldn’t have taken such a risk. The idea of giving someone permission to critique something I wrote was unheard of. I’ve come a long way from the insecure person I used to be. I don’t know exactly when the change happened. I’m certainly glad it did. Kinda reminds me of the story, The Ugly Duckling. Not that I ever thought I was ugly physically, but the duckling was very insecure. Then one day, he developed into a beautiful swan ready to face the world instead of hiding from it.
I’ve learned over the years that if I rely on my own strength and abilities, I will always be insecure about something. But focusing on God and relying on His strength, gives me security in who I am in Christ.
Are you holding back because of insecurity? Be secure in who you are in Christ. Spread your wings and fly. (Figuratively speaking, of course. :D) I’m not exempt. I’m . . .
Just blogging it out . . . Oh, and Happy Friday Night!! 😀
Pray for our country!!
