I saw a clip of a guy proposing to a woman on a talk show. He said his uncle told him if you have to get out of bed to speak to your best friend then you married the wrong person. What do you think about that statement?

I wouldn’t say “married the wrong person”, but I would wonder why a person’s spouse isn’t their best friend. Usually a best friend is the person who is the closest to us or the person who we share our innermost thoughts and feelings.

If your spouse isn’t your BFF, ask yourself why. Of course, to each it’s own. Just food for thought.
